Hi! I’m Monika Davis, a marketing professional working in the New York City craft beer scene. I have several years of experience bartending, serving, and working as a barista in the city, in addition to years of experience in journalism, photography, and social media. I relocated to Boston for undergrad where I majored in journalism and minored in photography at Emerson College. Between working odd jobs in retail to spending my last year of school in the photo darkroom, I discovered my love for using storytelling and creativity in order to provide a great experience for the customer. After graduating early in December 2019, I packed up and moved to Brooklyn where I started a social media fellowship at Insider Inc. Just a short four months later, I was moving back in with my family, working from home amidst the height of the pandemic. After I finished up my fellowship at the end of 2020, I decided to steer in a different direction and jumped into the hospitality industry and worked for a beer bar in the East Village. Halfway through 2022 I found my footing in the craft beer scene and began bartending and taking photos for Strong Rope Brewery in Brooklyn. I have a deep love for great beer and food, along with telling great stories through photography and marketing.
